Weird (But Effective!) Things We Do When Self-Tanning

Nighttime is often the most convenient time to self-tan, but crawling into bed slathered in the stuff means you're more prone to streaks on your skin—and stains on your sheets. Not cool. To avoid all of the above, I've honed my own PM tanning ritual over time: I do a once-over on my body with a blowdryer (yes, really) to get rid of any lingering wet patches, then I put on the pair of ratty, dark-colored pjs that I break out only if I'm going to faux glow.
