Renowned TV Show Builders West Coast Customs Roll into SEMA with their "West ...

The West Coast Customs Experience offers 1 class a day in 4 different areas. Audio/Video will demonstrate with wiring, fabrication and installation of electronic components in the car. The next class is with Ish in the Interior department. Participants will test their skills on Consew sewing machines and learn tips from Ish on the installation of headliners, pillars and seat covers. Our 3rd class covers graphics and detailing of your car. Learn the subtle differences in detailing using the West Coast Customs brand of detail products, and the application process of vinyl graphics. Rounding out our classes is the Accessories, Wheels and Tires class. Students here will learn fitment tips, along with installation of Continental Tires on Asanti Rims. Students will also learn techniques to install suspensions before they mount the new wheels and Tires. All of this excitement will be filmed for an upcoming episode of their hit show Inside West Coast Customs on Velocity.

consew 226 DAY ONE movie | Sewing Machine Troubleshooting

Consew 226 I bought on craigslist. might need repair: the thread breaks when I try to remove the work, but seems to sews OK otherwise. needs cleaning and lube, for sure: it’s -covered- inside and out with dust and crud. fellow 226 owners *please* contact me; I have about a -million- questions. the head -and- the motor on this one were made in japan. you can see my machine from every conceivable angle in giant images I posted here: machines.pinghoster.net alternate link to same *exact* site as above, but on another host (I use free hosts and they ‘crash’ sometimes…): machines.freehostingcloud.com what’s the difference between a 226 and a 226R1? anyone know where I can obtain a factory *original* MANUAL (or better yet) REPAIR manual for this *specific* machine? like the manuals (I assume) consew *themselves* originally provided? I’ve read this machine (and a lot of others, eg the juki LU-563, etc) are ‘clones’ of the singer model 111W, but, how close a “clone” *IS* my machine, really? like are *all* the parts of my consew dimensionally (and otherwise) DIRECTLY interchangeable with singer parts? or just ‘some’ or ‘most’ of them? say, the machine screws, for example? (metric vs USA) anybody ever hear of pressure washing the mechanisms in a sewing machine head? or of submerging the entire head in oil (then letting it drip out’ a few weeks on towels, before use) to lubricate it? what techniques does a sewing machine repair shop *USE* “in the REAL world” to clean decades of …

A doesn’t look like a foot, it looks like a knee lift bellcrank…..? B. looks like a strait right side presser foot. C. looks like a 3/16″ welt foot, (wheres it’s companion foot?) D. Is a 1/4″ double welt foot Where is it’s companion? E. is a 1/4 welt foot. Feet come in sets presser & walking… Each foot should be with its own companion. F. ???? G. the walking foot for one of the sets. probably 3/16 welt see the groove. H. looks like the companion to the double welt set D. I goes to a welt set

When removing work, to keep thread from breaking, roll the flywheel back and forth. This causes the thread pick up to advance thread, thereby releiving the tension at the needle and foot interface, that’s where the thread usually cuts when removing work. It’s basically “rocking the wheel”. the bobbin thread seldom breaks, it’salways the top thread ant then it’s annoying to rethread the needle every time. Be sure the foot is UP! the tension mechanism detensions the discs when the foot is up.
