Smart Start Baseball Camp: For ages 6-9, the camp prepares youth for organized sports and teaches skills instruction, teamwork, sportsmanship and importance of having fun. Girls Hoop Camp: For girls entering grades 1-6, the camp will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 24 on Joe Moses Court at R.A. Long High School. Camp clinicians are coaches and members of the RAL girls basketball team. Cost is $15 for Longview residents or $20 for non-residents. Monarch Red Devil Boys Basketball Camp: The 19th annual event will be held June 21-25 at Mark Morris High School and Lower Columbia College. The five-day camp is under the direction of LCC men's basketball coach Jim Roffler and MM boys basketball Bill Bakamus. Campers entering grades 4-7 will participate from 9 until noon, and campers entering grades 8-10 will participate from 1 to 4 p.m.. Each camper receives a basketball, T-shirt and various other prizes. Cost is just $75. No school affiliation is required. Campers can register by mail, or applications can be picked up at Athlete's Corner, or the MM Activities Office.

New Camp for Middle School Students: Camp Ayandeh JAVAN is here!
Camp Ayandeh JAVAN will be held in Northern Virginia from August 22nd to August 26th, 2011, from 8am-4pm, at Hemlock Overlook Regional Park (extended hours and transportation to the camp may be available upon request). The camp is open to all rising sixth graders through eighth graders. The cost of attendance is $400 and there are various merit-based scholarships available.
